Musicians in the Making programs are tailored to be skill and age appropriate. We welcome students of all ages, beginning from 3 and beyond. Explore our offerings below.

YOUTH PIANO PROGRAMS
Both of our youth piano programs offer students a holistic learning experience. Engagement through music theory, composition, creativity, and improvisation will nurture confidence in your young musician.
The Signature Piano Program
FOR AGES 5-18
Our Signature Piano Program offers a holistic learning experience through group and private instruction.
Students take weekly private lessons and attend a monthly group performance class where they develop their confidence in performing, strengthen their musicianship skills by reinforcing music theory through playing games, and exercise their creativity in composition and improvisation.
Piano students at Musicians in the Making participate in our “in-house” Composition Contest, PhD Program (Practice Hard Daily). They also have the opportunity to participate in local festivals, competitions, and community outreach concerts.

Bite-Sized Beethoven Piano Program
FOR AGES 3-5
Bite-Sized Beethovens is an interactive group class that introduces young students (ages 3-5) to musical elements in their bodies, in their world, and at the piano. Students dance, sing, and compose on a regular basis. Students learn about the keyboard geography, play songs, and develop a strong foundation for playing the piano.
Students have the opportunity to participate in the virtual recital at the end of the semester. Upon completion of the course, students may be recommended to continue in the group setting or graduate into individual lessons program.
When does this class meet?
Classes are once a week, 30 minutes each.

Requirements?
Students are required to have an acoustic piano or a weighted keyboard with 88 keys. Parental involvement required. iPad or laptop required.
YOUTH VIOLIN PROGRAM
Musicians in the Making is proud to offer Suzuki style lessons over Zoom for children entering Kindergarten and older.
Youth Violin Program
FOR AGES 5-18
Our Youth Violin Program includes weekly private lessons and monthly group classes. Stemming from the mother-tongue approach, Suzuki style lessons emphasize listening, repetition, loving encouragement, social learning, and parental involvement for student success.

Introducing our Youth Guitar Program! Focusing on fundamental guitar pedagogy, your student will enjoy playing his or her favorite popular tunes.

We are so thrilled to have guitar as part of the Musicians in the Making program! Our guitar program is fun and focuses on fundamental guitar pedagogy, all while learning popular tunes that students love! Students are invited to attend jam sessions throughout the year!
